Blade Runner, the dystopian sci-fi film based on the book "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" by Philip K. Dick (who also wrote the basis for Minority Report, Total Recall, and others), debuted 35 years ago this week, on June 25th 1982. The film is widely acclaimed for its ambition, visual effects, and ability to portray a futuristic Los Angeles set in 2019 (right around the corner). An ambitious sequel, Blade Runner 2049, is scheduled for release in October of this year, starring Ryan Gosling, but also featuring the original film's superstar actor Harrison Ford in his original character. To celebrate the anniversary of this classic, we put together a special collection of Blade Runner themed products to ogle, admire, and, if you are so inclined, claim as your own.
